About the QCMSO

The Quad City Medical Society Office is a professional office serving over 500 physicians who belong to the Rock Island County Medical Society and Scott County Medical Society. The physicians practice in every specialty and are dedicated to providing the best quality of care to patients and to protecting the health of the community. Together the two Medical Societies represent the majority of physicians with offices in the Quad City area.

What we do

Working Towards a Healthy Future
The Quad City Medical Society Office provides valuable educational opportunities for physician members of Rock Island and Scott County, working actively to ensure that social trends and their impact on the health of the community are assimilated into best practices. Participation in community initiatives that deal with health problems is an important part of the mission of the Societies. Through the Quad City Medical Society Office, physicians are represented in coalitions promoting better health in the community. The QCMSO maintains positions on the boards of both Tobacco Free Quad Cities, and the Quad City Health Initiative.

Community Health
Physicians from Rock Island County Medical Society and Scott County Medical Society volunteer their services to assist patients with questions about diverse health issues, participating in "Staying Well", a health-care guide developed in cooperation with the Quad-City Times. The guide features articles written by member physicians and showcases health-care resources available in the Quad-City region.
